Client database
Client database
(OP)
I will be sending out Christmas cards this year to existing as well as possible clients. I've got addresses and telephone numbers in Outlook, on buisness cards and on cocktail napkins.
I need a client database. I'm planning on throwing one together in Access but I thought I would ask the group if you all have any "off the shelf" client management software that you use?

RE: Client database
There are a number of sales tracking programs out there.. if you want to delve into them. But if you have say less than 100 clients -- KISS -- keep it simple stupid ( or sweetheart if talking to your wife )
RE: Client database
Depending on your method/style of bookkeeping, you can integrate client tracking, sales status, manage contacts with your accounting ledger.
Even better, the database is kept in .sql format. .sql data is .sql data, regardless of the software being to mine it.

RE: Client database
It works, it is just not very functional. BTW, my number of new website hits almost matched the number of cards sent.
