floating deck anchoring system

(OP)
Hi there,
How do you design anchoring system using stabilising chains or something similar for a floating dock structure?
Thanking you in advance

RE: floating deck anchoring system

You may want to try this text....I believe I saw something in here on the design of chains for floating structures. Also, you may want to check design documents published by the Port of LA, Long Beach, Seattle, etc....Or call KPFF Seattle's Marine/Port Design Division.

Design of Marine Facilities for the Berthing, Mooring, and Repair of Vessels by John W. Gaythwaite

RE: floating deck anchoring system

A loose ring around a stiff pile allows elevation changes of floating docks with stable loaction, (hinged ramp to the dock from the shore).
