Floating deck/ Marinas design

(OP)
Hi there,
I'm with a structural engineering background and tasked with designing floating docks and marinas.
I need some help;
1) what are the forces to which the marina deck to be designed for? I presume wind, wave & current forces are to be accounted for. If that being the case these forces are horizontal forces thus what provides the support for these forces?
2) I do see some guided piles at the end of fingers of the marina. What is the contribution of these piles?

Thaking you in advance.
