Where are my material properties

Where are my material properties

Where are my material properties

(OP)
Hello,

I'm using ansys since a short period now and I'm very satisfied with it. Todat I tried to do a fatigue analysis for the first time. All materials still where default (structural steel) so I tried to change them in other materials but when I insert a new material I couldn't change anything. When I click on the new material nothing happens, while usually a properties dialog should open where you can change parameters. The only thing I see in the engineering data is the engineering data project tab. Does anybody know how I can change or edit the materials?
Thanks in advance.

Bart

RE: Where are my material properties

Hi, try to look at 'mp', 'mptemp', 'mpdata' etc in help.
