Problem with tutorials

Problem with tutorials

(OP)
I've been working through some of the built-in tutorials and have noticed something odd. Some of the tutorials start with a pre-existing part model, but they never tell you to load it, or even where to find it.  It just assumes it's already loaded and begins giving instructions on how to edit it, etc. Given how detailed the tutorials are otherwise, I'm guessing these files are suppose to load automatically when the tutorial is started.  Is that right?  If so, is this a problem with the tutorial software or my setup?  Anyway to fix it?  It's not a major issue (I've been able to find the required files in the Training folder) but it would be nice to have this working correctly.

Thanks for any help.  -Pat

RE: Problem with tutorials

I loaded SE on my laptop and checked this, and the tutorials work as they should (ie. the part files DO load automatically). So it appears to be a problem with the installation on my workstation.

The main difference is that I'm running Windows XP Pro x64 on my workstation and regular Windows XP Pro (x32) on my laptop.  Could that be it?

Has anyone else encountered this?
