References for steam pressure drop formulas
(OP)
Most of the popular fluid flow and thermodynamic references do not directly address how to calculate pressure drop in piping systems by steam (saturated, superheated, two phase, etc). Can readers provide references to their favorite formulas for estimating pressure drop of steam in piping systems? The ones that I have found to date that were the most useful are Crane 410 paper, Piping Handbook (out of print I think), and Piping Calculations Manual. Thanks in advance for your input.

RE: References for steam pressure drop formulas
My favorite is the Crane 410 methodology, because it's empirical....!!!!
No, the piping handbook is not out of print....and, to the best of my recollection, is the same methodology as Crane 410..!!!!
Since I have been on this new anti-depression medication... I have been using lots of exclamation marks !!!!!!!

Crane 410 is also my choice, from there I have created several spreadsheets to do new calculations.
