hydraulic ?

hydraulic ?

(OP)
I have aquired a subaru car power steering pump to attempt
to power a 25 ton enerpac 10,000 psi ram, the loads will
not be heavy as it is under a lawn trailer 30''x60''x16''
bed size.  Will this pump produce enough pressure to
successfully lift this bed if loaded with dirt?

RE: hydraulic ?

Hi TW66, You have' nt really given enough info, but if your piston area is 5 sq in (it should be) and your pump produces 150 psi then you have a 750 lb lift available. Now how far are you putting the cyl from the Fulcrum point? Put it half way and you should be able to tip about 750 lbs. You have +/- 0 .5 cu m. struck .With loam it will lift it easily, with wet sand -no way. Cheers, Angase
