Is there a way to show the thread l

Is there a way to show the thread l

(OP)
Is there a way to show the thread lines of a threaded Rod
in Isometric view of MDT6?
I used the thread feature of MDT6, I created a 1/4 Dia. X
4" solid then added the thread feature. It will show dotted
thread line on plan view but when it comes to Isometric,
No thread lines..

I can show the thread lines if I create the viewport
manually , then set the command "Dispsilh to 1" and set the
Hideplot to "hide".

THANKS,
E.T.

RE: Is there a way to show the thread l

MD won't show threads as anything other than typical hidden lines in orthographic views. Inventor does show them I believe.

RE: Is there a way to show the thread l

Try looking at the Mechanical Options. On the first panel you will see a list of details included with the standard you've selected. Here you can change the way that thread lines are shown. Also ensure that the Standard parts option is set correctly on one of the alter tabs (the last one I think).

Fawkes
