Metering/Dosing pump

Hi!

I need a small(tiny) metering pump to a small project I am building. In this project I need pump a very small amount of a special oil(about 0.1/0.2 ml/m).

I have found some peristaltic pumps and some other pumps that can do this job:

I am looking for some other pumps that can do this metering/dosing.

Do you know any other types of pumps that can do this job and where can I find them? I am looking for something cheap, or not very expensive.

Hi!

I will take o look on those guys, do you have an idea of what are the prices of their pumps?

RE: Metering/Dosing pump

You aren't going to get much cheaper than a peristaltic or an FMI pump for this service.  FMI make OEM versions that are very cheap indeed.

If you're considering peristaltics, you must not need much discharge pressure.  Putting a gear pump or an HPLC-type low-flow piston pump or even a syringe pump on this service would be a waste of money.

Don't forget that if you're only pumping 0.2 mL/min, dead volume in your lines is going to be a killer.  You don't want to be pumping for ten minutes before anything comes out!

I have been looking on FMI pumps and they look pretty good, but are way too expensive :(
