Slewing Ring Bearing (crossed-roller) availability

Slewing Ring Bearing (crossed-roller) availability

(OP)
Hi guys,
I'm trying to find a single slewing ring bearing (apprx 400-500mm OD), internal gear.  Everytime I call anywhere they're asking for 4-6 mnths after payment (!!).  Is there anywhere (on the web, or my local bearing shop?) I could find this in stock somewhere?
The application is a robotic arm base (360degree rotation).
Thanks!

RE: Slewing Ring Bearing (crossed-roller) availability

You may be able to use a pair of thin section angular contact bearing that would be in stock and make or buy a gear to attach to the housing. Doing a search on "thin section bearings" should provide several links. We were able to purchase a standard thin section bearing from Kaman industrial.

Hi, thanks for the link.  I don't think however that a thin section since I will be loading the bearing with a large moment arm...  thanks though!

If you provide some actual load values I may be able to provide more ideas.
