The Dimensions on my Drawing disappear when I modify the part in model mode.  What is the setting to maintain these dimensions?

RE: Dimensions disappear on drawing

Are they completely disappearing, as in vanishing from the drawing?  Or are they just ghosting out?

If it's the latter, you need to 'reattach' the dimension by selecting it and right-clicking to select 'edit associativity'.  You can then select the geometry to which you would like to associate the dimension.

RE: Dimensions disappear on drawing

If they are disappearing completely, you may need to set the 'retain annotations' option. In NX2, this option can be found in Preferences -> Drafting...

This option will make unattached dims 'ghost out' as acciardi described.

Thanks, it was the Drafting preferences setting.
