Sheet metal size

(OP)
Hi all

a question on the standard size of sheet metal,

is that metrix standard size is 1200mm X 2400mm or 1220mm X 2400 mm ?

i have seen some of then in 1200x2400 and other come in 1220x2440

Thanks in advance

RE: Sheet metal size

The size you purchase is 1200x2400. However, if you need to square it for your needs, sometimes they give you some allowance (unsolicited). Also, if you buy 4 x 8 ft sheets, that is 1219.2x2438.4 mm, which is approximated on your purchase document as 1220x2440 mm.
cheers,
gr2vessels
