Create curves and points in drafting without sketch NX6

Create curves and points in drafting without sketch NX6

(OP)
I would like to add points and curves to a drafting sheet but all curve and point commands in NX6 creates a sketch. In NX5 you could create curves and points and have the option to create them in a sketch or not. Is this possible in NX6?

I have templates created in NX5 that have curves created without sketches. They have now been converted to NX6, I can copy the sketchless curves but I now need to add a point and there are no sketchless points to copy in my template.

At least in NX 6.0.2.x, you will be able to create points and curves, with or without using a Sketch, on the face of a drawing.
