Hi, i have successfully created a thread, using a helix spiral, and creating a Triangle, and using sweep cut...
i have tried mating the edges, and tried mating the surfaces but nothing is working! any suggestions tips help, would be great

I didn't look at your assembly, but generally you can mate the temporary axes of the hole and the screw.  Then mate the head of the screw to the face of the hole.

First question ... are the helical threads really necessary?
They are resource hogs, and unless they are needed for presentation or rapid prototyping, most people don't create them.

What are you trying to achieve; a simple alignment of the two parts when assembled, or the ability to animate the threading action?

If you have come to the determination that modeled threads are entirely necessary then use an axis mate, a mate between clamping faces and a mate between the planes on which the thread sketches were made to line up the helixes.

If you have modeled both in relative body position you can simply use three mate constraints between the origin workplanes.

You can use the Mechanical Screw Mate which will allow you to specify a pitch value and move the screw and have it rotate as it would in real life. I believe that was what CBL was asking in his post.

If you are trying to place an edge mate with the two helix geometries then it won't work. Use the Cylindrical portions of the Screw and bolt hole or the temp axes to get the concentric mate.
