2009 SNL Manager

Is anyone having issues with the network version of 2009.  I'm a bit confused about the un/install of the SNL Manager...

RE: 2009 SNL Manager

I haven't had any issues.  Did you follow the step-by-step that they give you during the install?

Yea, it's at step 2 where I get tripped up.  Do I use "Add/Remove Programs" (Windows) to uninstall then "Check for Updates" to install the new version?

RE: 2009 SNL Manager

I don't remember what I did.  It was two days ago, after all smile.  I think the directions were to use the Add/Remove Programs tool then install the new SNL manager as described.

RE: 2009 SNL Manager

You need to Remove the old SNL Manager and will be told to do so when installing the 2009 Manager.

Use Add Remove to get rid of it and install the new version with 2009.

If you're company is using standalone and decides to switch to a Network License the SNL manager client is Installed automatically with the software and makes the conversion simple.

I think I got it figured out, we have a network install and the SNL Manager is installed on the server in IT.  That's why I could not find it in my Add/Remove Programs list.  I'll do the SolidWorks upgrade on my machine and IT will upgrade the SNL Manager.
BTW – We only have 2 seats and are not using the Admin Image, I'd be interested in hearing peoples thoughts (pro & con) on switching to one...
