How do you get sketches to show in parts, so you can use their geometry for other features?  I have a conical revolve that I want to place a plane on.  I know I can select the conical face and a standard plane to create a new plane, that works.  I would rather build some sketches in the part and use that geometry to create the plane, as I have a feeling this plane will become independent of the conical face as the part evolves.

I am thinking there is some enabled option that I am missing, but I can't find it.

RE: Viewable Part Sketches

Dan's got it.  I often find in parts created by others that "Hide all Types" is checked, so even if I right-click to show a sketch, that top-most option over-rides it.

Grrr!

I was sitting here like fool, right-clicking the sketch and toggling between Show and Hide.

*kneeling and bowing* I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy...

Been there and done that enough times that I finally added the buttons to the view toolbar.  But I still do it on a regular basis...
