hi guys  

i need a standard values for steam flow rates and presurres to different applicatin uses steam at hospitals laundaries, etc..  from a  refrence like ASHRAE for example

thanks HevïGuy but it doesnt include the valuse of steam flow rate for the equipments iam trying to find refrence for steam  applications at laundaries hospitals ect... any help?

etchyHA,  seem to recall

I seem to recall a compendium of equipment steam rates but I've no idea where that may be. Even this wouldn't be very good to you since rates depend on the size of the component, heat rise etc (hence the link giving you the opportunity to calculate consumption based on actual parameters)

Couple of suggestions:
  • contact one of the major manufaturers of steam components (such as the one referenced in my earlier posting). They'll likely be more than happy to give you very general consumption rates
  • determine just what it is that you want in your plant, contact the various equipment OEMs for specific equipment consumption rates

I would check out the operator manual for each piece of equipment for that info. or call the manufacturers.
