Part and Project relation

(OP)
Hi,
In a folder, I have many parts and no assemblies. Also there are few projrct files. How can I know which project file was active for a perticular part ?

OR let me ask it this way. How can one know to which project a part file belongs?

Thx
C1

RE: Part and Project relation

Project files only define locations of folders,etc..
Parts do not belong to any project.

RE: Part and Project relation

one way to find is locating the file in explorer, RMB on the part, click on iproperties, click on project tab

RE: Part and Project relation

also, in the explorer, you RMB>design asst>tools>find >autodesk inventor files; there you can see "current path file"
