Mixing Steel and Aluminium in sheet plant

(OP)
Can anybody direct me and name the most important issues that we should take into account when stamping/cutting &welding steel sheet products and aluminum sheet products on the same factory floor?
For instance: are there any measures needed to shield steel chips from our aluminum sheet or vice-versa.. et

thanks

RE: Mixing Steel and Aluminium in sheet plant

Need to avoid steel slivers/chips in the stamping dies for Al parts to avoid embedding them into the Al which can cause cracking and corrosion problems.

Cory
