Sectioned isometric view in drwaing
Sectioned isometric view in drwaing
(OP)
Hi!
I would like to know how to make sectioned isometric view in drawing. I have an assembly. I created a sectioned isometric view and named it. When I try to insert this named view to my drawing file, it does not go as sectioned isometris but as full isometric. Any tip ?

I tried , what you said, but whenever I try to make a derived component in order to cut the assembly, it says the derived component can be made for a part only. How to cut assembly. This not a mold but for a presentation.

Thanks! I tried exactly as you said and it worked. But one small problem with it. Some parts in the assembly are cut on this side of the plane of sketch , whereas some other parts are cut on the other side of the sketch. How to set this right
