Structural engineering - green roofs

Can any one please tell me what loads should take in KN/m2 for a saturated  extensive type of green roof having a depth between 75-100mm.

RE: Structural engineering - green roofs

I would say 2 kPa per 100 mm for the saturated soil load.  But the "green roof" installer should be able to give you a better number.

RE: Structural engineering - green roofs

Look for information from a few different manufacturers.  They usually provide this.

RE: Structural engineering - green roofs

2.4 KPa is about 50psf.  This is a growing green roof load of short bush/tall grass height.
