SW 2009 QUESTION-PART DISPLAY IN ASSEMBLY

SW 2009 QUESTION-PART DISPLAY IN ASSEMBLY

SW 2009 QUESTION-PART DISPLAY IN ASSEMBLY

(OP)
When I open a parasolid file in 2009 as an assembly,It doesn't retain its original part colors. Once it finished loading the whole assembly changes to Grey.

If I open the same parasolid file in 2008, all individual parts retains its original colors.

Is there any settings in SW 2009 to maintain its original colors when it is shaded?

Thanks

Did you have realview on in 2008. Do you have it on in 2009?

RE: SW 2009 QUESTION-PART DISPLAY IN ASSEMBLY

designer22,

I too am having this problem but I'm running 2008 sp4.0.  I didn't have this on sp3.1.  I've contacted my VAR and they told me it was supposed to be fixed in 2009.  I guess this is not the case.  Maybe it'll be fixed is sp1.0.

Thanks rwdesigner,

Let's hope that this will be fixed in sp1
