Threads on studs.

(OP)
I am having a problem inserting threads on a stud.  Can someone tell me step by step how to do it.  I have followed a few step by step methods, but the threads don't seem to form properly.  Then all of a sudden, I get an error message "Closing due to an unhandled error.  Please contact your technical help support.

RE: Threads on studs.

You need to provide more information for people to help you with this.  Is the size of your thread a standard size or some custom size?  Are you trying to cut real threads, or are you talking about cosmetic threads?

If your threads are standard, there is no reason to cut real threads.  They are nothing more than a resource hog.  if you need them for molding purposes, that might be a different story.

Secondly, can you please list your computer specs?  Often times a non-certified graphics card can be the source of a lot of failures and odd behavior in SW.
