DirectLogic 5 PLC issue

DirectLogic 5 PLC issue

(OP)
All,

I have a DL5 Series PLC from Automation direct and I am trying to do a simple motor seal in.  I am paralleling the motor contact as a NO contact around the pushbutton input that is triggering the motor to run.  For some reason this doesn't seem to seal the motor in.  Any thoughts?

Regards,

Rich....

RE: DirectLogic 5 PLC issue

Got a drawing?

A couple things come to mind, off hand;

1) Your sealin bit is being used elsewhere too.
2) You're jumping out of the Stage, and resetting it.
