Determining Rail Steel

Determining Rail Steel

Determining Rail Steel

(OP)
Just wondering what the load capacities were or how-to calculate for steel I rails.  I need to install a track system in a decline shaft/mine galleries.  I have a list of international standard rails from S7 to S47 but not exactly sure which ones to use.  The load will be; (2) 2 tonne ore wagons (dry weight of 200kg).  There will be water present in the galleries and the decline.

My question is what is max. load for;
S7
S9
S10
S12
S14
S18
etc...

And then how do I compensate for water issues?

Thank you.
