TC-NX5 assebly problem

TC-NX5 assebly problem

TC-NX5 assebly problem

(OP)
Hello!

I am working in NX trough TC 2007. When I make an assembly and loud in it some parts from TC that aren't mine(I'm not the owner). Than when I try to save the assembly, the following warning apear (Save warning->No attempt made to save the following parts, as they are read-only. if write access to any of these parts has been granted from PDM, use Tools->Teamcenter Integration->Lock/Unlock Parts-> Refresh locks Status to refresh (and below showing the part(s) that I load in the assebmly).

I'm not sure, but I'm thinking that in TC, rights of groups or users maybe aren't well defined.

If somebody know this error(warning), I appreciate the explenation.

Regards,
Tadej P.

RE: TC-NX5 assebly problem

It is a warning not an error. It should also notify you that saving is successful with those exceptions. For once I can honestly say it's a feature not a bug!

Cheers

Hudson
