Trouble with FACET reference set

Trouble with FACET reference set

Trouble with FACET reference set

(OP)
I have not used FACET/Lightweight reference sets, but would like to.  My customer defaults, assy, site std, is setup with the FACET lightweight reference set.  New components are added automaticly.

I have a large component in my assembly, when I set the FACET reference set, only the sheets in the component are visible.  I don't get a facet body for the main solid.  The component is part of the moldwizard library and goes back quite a few versions I think, the sheets I see are newer geometry that I added.

I've searched the help files, but they suggest this should be an automatic process.

RE: Trouble with FACET reference set

If you have an advanced assemblies licence you can edit the representations to control which bodies are added or excluded. It requires that you do so on a part by part basis so that just changing your customer defaults will influence future behaviour but pre-existing components may need to be re-saved at the very least to update the reference sets' contents.

Cheers

What can I do if I dont have an advanced assembly license?  When I edit the facet reference set it seems to just add the regular solid body.
