Distributor testing - failure likely hood.

Distributor testing - failure likely hood.

Distributor testing - failure likely hood.

(OP)
Dear Sirs,

We have recently completed some packing distributor testing from one vendor.

They told us. The pump has failed as a result the distributor has not passed the test.  This seems not right..

The flows of the mass meter were reading correctly so i fail to see why a pump would impact the distributor testing..

Further is it often that when you test distriboters they fail the tests..

RE: Distributor testing - failure likely hood.

I don't quite understand your failure mode as far as how the pump impacts the distributor.

One thing could be the feed pump to the distributor failed or is underperforming.  As a result it is not providing the required minimum flow the distributor needs allowing all the feed liquid to drain through the tray drain holes.

RE: Distributor testing - failure likely hood.

Water that you use to test the distributor is collected at the bottom sump, and then pumped back to the distributor.  If the pump failed for some reasons, you cannot continue the test.  If this pump is not what you are talking about, I don't understand your question, either.
