I created a drawing with a component located at co-ordinate A, the component was then moved to co-ordinate B, is it possible to relink the views in the drawing so it knows where to look for the component in the B position, as opposed to looking in space at position A?

Thanks,

TJ

RE: UG NX3 View Linking

If I understand your problem then it is because you have moved the component, (or its contents) relative to the absolute co-ordinate system so that it is no longer framed by the earlier created view. As a consequence your drawing is affected. There is no known way of addressing this problem by moving the view to the drawing, but should you recall the translation that you earlier performed the better solution my be to move the the component back to the views on the drawing supposing that is that your component and drawing are in two separate files using the master model method. After all what rule says that a component on a drawing has to be loaded at any particular location.

Cheers

Hudson
