Light gage c-stud frame

(OP)
I have a 3-d frame which will be constructed with light gage metal c-studs. Where two horizontal members will tie into a vertical member (kind of like horizontal blocking intersecting a vertical stud), should I use the same screw holes in the vertical member for attaching the connecting clips attaching to either side?  Or should I somehow offset the clips to avoid using the same screw holes?

The common metal c-stud framing details for blocking I located from some manufacturers appear to show using the same holes, but never really state that.
