Spreadsheet help in NX4 wanted!

Spreadsheet help in NX4 wanted!

Spreadsheet help in NX4 wanted!

(OP)
Hi,

Firstly thanks for taking the time to read this!

I currently use the spreadsheet function in NX4 to output the xyz coordinates of points within the part file. I could do with also finding a way to output the dimensions generated in a series of sketches (and naming said dimensions). What I need to output is 2 lengths and an angle.

I've tried looking in the help files and can't find anything particularly useful so all help gratefully accepted!

Thanks again

R

RE: Spreadsheet help in NX4 wanted!

Why do you wish to use the spread sheet for this purpose?  Note that Sketch 'dimensions' are actually Expressions, which can be accessed via the spreadsheet so if you know the names of the expressions, they can be loaded into the spreadsheet and then manipulated as desired.  However, if you were just looking to 'output' them, a simple NX Open program (GRIP or UFUNC) may serve you better.
