Bonding between existing concrete slab and new overlay

Bonding between existing concrete slab and new overlay

(OP)
Client is requesting addition of new structure adjacent to existing building, by using the existing eight inch thick parking lot concrete pad, which slope away from existing
bldg. with difference of 8" in elevation from top of the slab to the lower part of slab, client wants to level the slab by adding 4" sand base and 4" new cocnrete mix to level the floor, slab is used for truck storage, with 6" minimum thickness requirement, my question is how does the new concrete will interact with existing in above formation or is best to use latex bonding on existing floor with 4" concrete above with out any sand base. any suggestion will be helpful. thank you
