Preventative Maintenance

(OP)
Does anyone use software that helps with machine PM/Rebuilds?

We are defining which assemblies should be rebuilt during scheduled PM times.  That in itself is a large task for us having equipment all around the world.  We also would like to record the condition of parts during the rebuild.  Tracking parts through history we hope to fine tune our replacement parts and extend the life between rebuilds.

RE: Preventative Maintenance

Google "cmms software"
We do/track it all manually here so I'm not much help as to which software is better than others. But all offer free demos typically

RE: Preventative Maintenance

We have been using MP2 from Datastream. http://www.datastream.net/english/products/mp2.aspx

It seems to do the job for us and we are planing to move up to their EAM Enterprise to link all of our sites. If you use MS Project for planning any of your shutdown work they do offer an addon that makes working in either seamless.

In agreement with all the above. If you have a world wide enterprise and use something like SAP there are modules available that will do anything you need in your endeavour.
