Activation Mathcad 13

Activation Mathcad 13

(OP)
The reason why a post this is perhaps somebody here had a similar experience and can help. I made absolutely no changes to my system, but Mathcad 13 requires new activation. Over the internet doesn't work: "No server available". E-mail doesn't work, they give you an activation file for Mathcad 14 - no good, I need an Activation Code. So you call. They tell you, the request code Mathcad generated is not valid. So you call a different number. They make you delete the *.dat files in some obscure directory, I never looked at. You generate a new request code, finally you get an activation code. But I am an idiot, I restart Mathcad to put it in, but that results in a new request code being generated that is not compatible with the activation code you just got. There is nobody to answer the phones, so you wait and wait. After three hours of this I am exactly nowhere.

RE: Activation Mathcad 13

I had a similar experience trying to activate Windows Small Business Server 2003 when I had to rebuild a dead harddrive.  I just had the window open asking for the activation code, and called and waited (I think it only took an hour, since it was evening here and it was morning in India) until I got my code.

Sorry, I cannot say I have had that particular problem with Mathcad.
