Speech Recognition IC

Speech Recognition IC

(OP)
Does anyone know of an inexpensive speech recognition IC?  I am working on a project that requires around 40 to 50 words to be recognized.  It will interface to a microcontroller, so I can work w/ any type output.  I have heard about Philips' "Hello IC", but could not find any datasheets about it on their website.  Is this product out on the market, yet?

I have worked with speech recognition software, but never with circuitry.  So if anyone has any experiences/stories about their projects using a speech-recognition IC, I'd be glad to hear them.

Thanks.
