I am trying to locate Cem-Fil 61/1.

I have a volumetric mixer that is equiped with a fiber
dispencer.

RE: Cem-Fil 61/1

Not a real professional question, but a timer might be better to look for to control the mixing time.

Thanks concretemasonry for your reply. However you did not provide the answer to my question.I was able to find it on my own.

English is really the most difficult language.

RE: Cem-Fil 61/1

With fibers, the mixing duration time after the fibers are introduced is critical. This is a batching, mixing and timing situation. Too much mixing and they "ball" up and are not effective. Too little mixing time they are not dispersed properly.

Even with volumetric batching/mixing concrete can be reasonably uniform if the aggregate is consistance (surface moisture of fine aggregate mainly) can be consistant. The effective use of fibers is much more critical since they are also effected by admixtures.

Usually, the technical support for the fibers know far more than most engineers what is most practical and effective. Using fibers in concrete is not for amateurs, unless it is not a critical application.
