Searching for specs ANSI/ASA A21.2 or AWA C102

Searching for specs ANSI/ASA A21.2 or AWA C102

I am trying to find specs ANSI/ASA A21.2 or AWA C102 for cast iron pipe.  This pipe is referenced on a drawing from 1960.  Internet searches yield references to the standard but no way to view or purchase.  I also searched code websites (ANSI, AWWA, techstreet, IHS) directly with no luck.  I'm guessing it has been superseded but I can't find what the new spec would be.  Can anyone help?  Thanks.

Do you have titles?  It might help track them down.

That the material standard is no longer supported (the Standard is withdrawn) indicates that the material is no longer available.

You might want to look for a copy of the Ductile Iron Pipe Research (DIPRA) Association Handbook of Ductile Iron for further information on what is currently available and how it should be used.  These materials are still covered by the A-21 group of Standards.

Regards, John.

Looks like it's called "American Standard for Cast Iron Pipe, Pit Cast, for Water or Other Liquids" circa 1962.

Another reference describes it similarly as "Specifications for Cast-Iron Pit-Cast Pipe".

RE: Searching for specs ANSI/ASA A21.2 or AWA C102

I suspect you are asking about a now more than half a century old standard for  pit-cast iron pipe (I have a copy of the 1953 version of this standard but don't know if it is legal to copy).  While you could probably obtain or read a somehow legit copy of this yourself from a good technical library like ASU or Linda Hall etc. and I don't know exactly what you're looking for, I know some contemporary websites still show at least some of the old pit-cast pipe dimensional data etc. for many of the varied classifications and dimensions of pipes per this standard online (e.g. see Table 12-1 on pg 12-2 at http://www.acipco.com/adip/products/Sect12.pdf, and also at   http://www.muellercompany.com/files/16-12-13.pdf etc.)
[I think incidentally the pit-cast material had target  burst tensile strength of 11,000 psi, a modulus of rupture of 30,000 psi, and a secant modulus of elasticity dependent on test methods of say ~ten to fifteen  million psi etc.]
