in follow up to this thread: thread755-137536: Jobs in Biomechanics

Can anyone name any companies in the field that hire recent graduates perhaps? with a BSc of mechanical or biomechanical engineering.

In Canada U.S area if possible. Im having the hardest time finding any listings of jobs in this field.

RE: Career in biomechanics

Ah, that thread really takes me back...

What kind of job are you looking for?
Even with the economy the way it is, medical device companies seem relatively stable in growth and hiring...  However, you may be stuck in the foul "post-grad no work-experience" trap.  If that's the case I really wish I could help you but you basically just have to get lucky.

www.devicelink.com is a decent place to look around, but you may have to try for an internship or CAD designer job to get your foot in the door with a given company - either way don't let it get you down, once you have a few years under your belt the recruiters won't leave you alone!

RE: Career in biomechanics

MDDI (DeviceLink) is a good resource.  You can also check BMES, ISB, BMENet, and BME AII.  They all have job boards that are exclusively biomedical.
