Pulverized Coal Sampler - Rotorprobe

Pulverized Coal Sampler - Rotorprobe

Pulverized Coal Sampler - Rotorprobe

(OP)
Hi,
I'm looking to compare different types of pulverized coal samplers.  If anyone knows of any manufacturers please let me know.

(I want to spec out something that would suit the coal pipe velocities at our plant (up to 35m/s) as well as the high moisture content of our coal (could be up to 35%).  We currently have a MW unit for sampling, which seems to be suited for lower coal pipe velocites, and the cyclone system is plugging up, possibly due to the high moisture content of our coal.)

Anyone burning lignite coal - what do you use for coal pipe balancing / pf sampling at your plant?

RE: Pulverized Coal Sampler - Rotorprobe

Hi,

we have an online coal analysing tool ("EUcoalsizer")in place which is designed to measure coal particle size distribution, velocity, mass flow (air and coal) and temperature simultaneously inside coal pipes/ducts and delivery instantaneous results. We have experiences from applications in lignite and black coal fired-plants.
For more informatuion check out our website http://www.eutech-scientific.de/EUcoalsizer.44.0.html or send us a mail. We would be pleased to learn more about your application.

Regards
EUtech Team
