Beveled flange filler

(OP)
Is there any criteria for using beveled flange fillers to correct the misalignment of 18-inch steel piping with Class F flanges.  Is there a suggested maximum bevel angle and minimum thickness.

RE: Beveled flange filler

I noticed you had not yet gotten any response to your inquiry -- you thus might also consider posting your inquiry on the "Piping Design Central Discussion List" (see http://www.PipingDesign.com/, where I know there has been quite a bit of discussion over the years concerning flanged steel piping and also code issues etc.)
