Physical simulation of bag sealing?

Physical simulation of bag sealing?

Physical simulation of bag sealing?

(OP)
Ok, I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this but I figured I'd ask anyway.
Let's say you have a mechanical bag sealer and you want to animate the spool of plastic being fed through the sealer, filled with product, then sealed (which would, essentially, crimp it), then cut off. Make sense? Any ideas?

RE: Physical simulation of bag sealing?

I have not tried this and don't know if it would work.
Can you create different config's and have animator start each config at different times?
