Logic for operation of Neutral isolator for parallel generators

Logic for operation of Neutral isolator for parallel generators

(OP)
We are working on a project wherein there are three diesel generators (2x1250kVA + 1x750kVA)in parallel with a steam turbine set. Neutral isolators (NI) for DG sets have same continuous rating for interchangeability. My questions :
1. Do we need to check fault rating for NI.
2. Also if on AMF logic, 750kVA set starts first & 1250kVA set is synchronised later can we continue with NI of only 750kVA in closed condition or do we need to close NI of 1250kVA set & then open NI of 750kVA set. (Given all NI have same current rating).
My doubts may sound academic but will help me a lot.
