upgrading to 2008 SP4 removed my colors

upgrading to 2008 SP4 removed my colors

(OP)
Hello all,

I upgraded to 2008 SP4 after using SP0, and it removes all the colors set to the part, on the part level and the assembly level.
I think its a settings issue but i cant change it, can you help me.
Now if i go to Edit>Appearance> color is not on so i cant click on it and i can only click on RV appearance, sometimes Material as well.

Regards

Check to see if you have realview graphics enabled or not.  If you were not using it in the past and real view is anabled everything will turn gray.

i always have it enabled, although its not fully supported but it gave me some shades.

But it is true that everything turned gray, on th part but the background are the same as before the upgarde.

someparts still have their colors but others truned gray.

What do you recommend?

regards

I want to add that, when i reopen the assembly, all parts displays normally for a second till it opens and then colors disappear, that's why i think its settings.
maybe its something with the video card settings coz i add another monitor yesterday.

regards

RE: upgrading to 2008 SP4 removed my colors

Sorry, that was all I had.  I try not to use the realview graphics and usually do not have it enabled.  I usually just screw something up when I try to use it.  I only change the colors to make it easier to see the different parts in the assembly.

I can not see how the 2nd monitor would mess this up on you.  I agree with your guess that some check box in SW either got checked or unchecked in the upgrade process.
