SW not creating default flat pattern config.

SW not creating default flat pattern config.

Too make a long story short. I lost my hard drive Monday morning sad and finally got everything back up and running late yesterday. I was using 2007 SP5.0 but, I only have the DVD for 2007 SP2.2. I don't know how the guy before me got SP5.0. We currently don't have maintenance (upgrading to 2009 w/main in Jan.). This morning I created a couple sheetmetal parts and the "DefaultSM-FLAT-PATTERN" config isn't there. I looked through the config setting, searched help and searched this board. Is there a setting I'm overlooking or is this a known problem for this SP. Approx. 75% of my models/drawings are sheetmetal and I really need this functionality. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On a side note a fresh install of everything made a big uptic in performance.

Thanks

RE: SW not creating default flat pattern config.

It usually does not create the flat pattern until you put it on a drawing.  Start a drawing, insert the sheet metal part and you should see the flat pattern configuration.

Ok I'll say it, "I'm a dumb@$*". I guess it's just going to be one of those weeks. Trying to hurry and make up for 2 days down time and end up not thinking everything all the way through.
Actually I don't guess I've ever looked in the config of a SM part for the flat pattern before creating a drawing. I've always just suppressed & unsupressed in the model tree when working with the part.
I was adding a config to make temp lh/rh parts until I got everything sized right, before doing a save as, and noticed the flat wasn't there. So I created another SM part and it was the same way.
Oh well, stuff happens!

Thanks a million, smcadman.
