Changing drafting view type

Changing drafting view type

Changing drafting view type

(OP)
I have a very large assembly drawing where the use of the solid body geoemrty has started to exhaust the resources of the client PC (32 bit os)

I am a great beliver in the use of product outline and facted bodies when you come up against part file size restrictions.

As the drawing is part completed, i want to convert the existing views to 'Facted Representation'  this option is normally set on view creation, and i cant seem to find a variable to toggle the view type once the view has been created.

Is it possible to toggle the view type?  even with a a bit of ufunc code if some once knows the command. or, could this be a enhancement request?

Cheers,

B

RE: Changing drafting view type

It seems that it may be an enhancement request after all!
