Editing Cross Sections

Editing Cross Sections

(OP)
Hello, I'm trying to edit an existing drawing. Currently it's got a cross section that was created using a datum plane. I'd like to move the cross section to a different datum plane. Is this possible? Any ideas? I'm using Pro/E wildfire 2.
Thanks
George

RE: Editing Cross Sections

Hello George...

Step 1...Identify the current plane that is used as the cross section.

Step 2...Offset it in the direction and distance required.

Step 3...Delete the section view and replace it using the new plane.

Step 4...Open the drawing and redefine the view.

Easy as that

Adrian
