Filter->Remove Selected Features

(OP)
Hello everybody,
I currentlly using NX5.0.3.0, on model navigator, if we select any feature parameters, and right click there's a function, Filter->Remove Selected Features. I try to use these on some suppress features in order not to show in navigator, then save the part. Somehow it works on current session when I re open it.  But with a new UG session(close and re-run UG)the features which I applied with Filter->Remove Selected Features, still exist.

Does something lacking on the process I did, or does any body know how this is done.

Thanks for your help.

RE: Filter->Remove Selected Features

The status or state of a filter setting is not saved between sessions.

RE: Filter->Remove Selected Features

Maybe try saving a bookmark file that is a snapshot of your session that gets you back to how the files were loaded etc.

RE: Filter->Remove Selected Features

Bookmarks are for Assemblies.  We're talking about Filters for the Part Navigator which has no impact on the content of the model, but rather what gets displayed in the navigator itself.

But since we're on that topic, if the goal was to 'filter' out (not see) the suppressed features, while in the Part Navigator, press MB3 and select...

Use Filter -> No Suppressed Features

Granted, this filter will only be in effect during your current session, but it took only a single mouse gesture to activate.
