drawing output shows additional lines everywhere?

drawing output shows additional lines everywhere?

drawing output shows additional lines everywhere?

(OP)
I've finally finished my big assembly but when i go to produce a drawing (.dft) a whole lot of eliptical lines show up over the top of the model.(Version 18)

They look like multiple orbits around different centrepoints.

They must have somehow been produced when i was constructing the various sub assys in my big project.
I cannot see them in any other view (part or assembly).

How can i remove them - or at least supress them?

thanks extremely in anticipation of any help - im desperate and the deadline is approaching

I have attached an image

RE: drawing output shows additional lines everywhere?

I've seen similar things to this before and it's generally been a corrupt part.
Have a look at where the centre points are in relation to the parts in the assembly. They may be centred around one part, or instances of the same part.

RE: drawing output shows additional lines everywhere?

I've also seen this before.

Usually it's a corruption of the tapped hole display.  If you go to the part file, and dig (keep hitting the 'plus' sign next to the text to expand them) into the tapped hole in the 'tree', you can turn off the hidden line that denotes a hole as tapped.  Or you can manually change the diameter of the circle (however, I don't quite remember the step-by-step process for that one)

I know it IS possible to turn off or fix, but it will take some experimenting.

Does extra circles show up in a detail (file with the titleblock) drawing of any of the parts?  If so, you can show/no-show or fix it from the model itself.
