Face Colour to body colour

Face Colour to body colour

Face Colour to body colour

(OP)
Hello People

One of my users has been sent a part by a supplier that has had its colour (color) set by face colour. Is there any way to to revert the part back to being body colour so when we use edit>object display, we don't need to select all the faces in order to change the colour of the part.

Many thanks in advance. afro2

Best regards

Life shouldn't be measured by the number of breaths you take, but rather how many times it's taken away...

RE: Face Colour to body colour

Open the part file and go to...

Edit -> Object Display...

...and select the body of the part.  When the Edit Object Display dialog comes up toggle ON the 'Apply to all faces' option and select some new color and hit Apply.  OK, from now on whenever you edit this body, even if the 'Apply to all faces' is NOT toggled ON, the body will behave like it did before any of the faces were edited.
