i have a problem in welding design and lifting lug design for a pressure vessel,

i wonder if there any worked example can help with .

i have to design lifting lug for a 10000 letter vessel supprt by tow saddels .
Dimension for the vessel is 1.9 diameter X 4 m

This may be a bit late,however,check out ASME section 1, support lug design for fire tube boilers.

You've got a small horizontal vessel. Have you considered the use of slings instead of lugs?
